WHAT DOES HOW TO MAKE A CUSTOM CENTER CONSOLE MEAN?

Gonna build a padded lid which will need wrapped way too. Could use assistance on kind of hinges to work with. Was considering making a leather pouch style pocket instead of making a thing rigid away from fiberglass. Any ideas to make this improved/less difficult are welcome. I bolstered all corners and both sides with fiberglass before the filler.
